Hello Everyone!! My name is Chris and I am a recovering Heroin Addict.
My journey started in my teen years when I first dabbled with mind and mood altering substances.
Alcohol, Marijuana, and of course prescription pills, became an obsession of mine at an alarmingly fast rate. By my early 20’s I was a full-blown Heroin Addict.
I started this blog to share my experience strength and hope regarding substance abuse recovery and to prove to the world that recovery IS possible. The blog is filled with posts, resources and addiction treatment articles to remind the world that recovery is possible.
Take a quick look at the short video below “How to spot an addict in your home,” or skip over to the resources page to find help for yourself or a loved one.
“How do I quit Heroin or Opioids?”
Believe it or not, this question is asked quite a bit.
“How do I quit opioids for good?”
The simple answer is to get help. Nobody can quit any major addiction without help. Help from family. Help from friends. Help from professionals. Whether residential or out-patient treatment, recovery cannot be achieved without a little help.
