The Granite State

The chart below shows the sharp increase in DRUG RELATED DEATHS just in the state of New Hampshire. Keep in mind, that these stats are only from 1995-2011. The sharpest increase is yet to come with the years 2011-2015 being much worse.

It should be noted that a recent statistic concludes that for each $1 state and/or federal government’s spend on prevention and treatment, $59.93 is spent on cleaning up the mess for which substance abuse and addiction creates.
We need to shift that spending drastically to the other side. Prevention is the key. Cutting off the Head so to speak of this epidemic. Talk, lecture, educate, and inform. Especially our youth.
